LOSING GROUND

Do you know where this is going?


Is there anything you're doing,


to keep yourself from losing,


that which you have loved so long;


you just assumed it belonged


to you? As time moves along,


with just a quick look around,


to see what you've lost or found;


you feel that you're losing ground.


But, not knowing what to do,


you blindly follow those who,


are leading those in front of you.


No idea where you're going,


or what you should be doing,


to keep yourself from losing;


that which you have loved. . .so long.
